The Rover that started it all! The various Series models represent the classic Land Rover design: simple, capable, and extremely functional.
The first prototype of the Series came out in 1947 and eventually led to quite a line-up including the Series IIA which many consider to be representative of the Land Rover concept itself. The Land Rover company claims that of the entire quantity of Series models produced, 70% are still out there climbing trails and blasting down dirt roads!
